What to expect at your first session

Before the session

We send a short intake form to fill in beforehand (about 10 minutes). Bring your MHCP if you have one.

During the session

50 minutes. Mostly listening, some explaining, sometimes some practical exercises. No homework on day 1.

After the session

You go away with a clearer picture of what's happening and a plan for the next 4–6 sessions. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so and help find someone who is.
The first session is about understanding what's brought you in, what you're hoping to get from therapy, and whether we're the right clinician for you.

Health funds, EAP & NDIS

We accept most private health funds with psychology cover, all major Employee Assistance Programs (Benestar, Acacia, Converge, Davcorp, AccessEAP and others), and NDIS plan-managed clients. Mention your fund or EAP at booking — we handle the rest.
