How it helps

Our autism assessment process follows NHMRC and Autism CRC consensus guidelines: clinical interview, ADOS-2 (Module 4), self-report (AQ, RAADS-R), developmental history, and where available collateral input from a family member or partner.

We screen for common co-occurring conditions (ADHD, anxiety, depression, sensory processing). The assessment results in a written diagnostic report you can use with NDIS, your GP, employer, or further specialists.

Who it's for

Adolescents and adults who suspect they may be on the autism spectrum and want a clinical answer.

Common questions

Do you assess adults as well as adolescents?
Yes — our autism assessment is designed for adolescents and adults seeking a clinical answer.
What does the process involve?
Clinical interview, developmental history, screening questionnaires and an ADOS-2 assessment, followed by a written report — usually 3–4 sessions.
Will a diagnosis help with NDIS?
A formal diagnostic report is often part of an NDIS access request; eligibility is decided by the NDIA.
Is telehealth an option?
Parts of the process can be done by telehealth; your clinician will advise what needs to be in person.
